KAZIMI Closes €2.2 Million Pre-Seed Fundraise

KAZIMI Preseed Announcment

KAZIMI Closes €2.2 Million Pre-Seed Fundraise To Enable App Developers to Verify Their Data and Turbocharge Their Performance

  • KAZIMI offers an advanced proof-of-humanness security solution for mobile apps to protect their first-party data, detect all forms of bot activity, and distinguish real users from fake users - all without collecting PII data.

  • Global mobile ad spend reached $419 billion in 2025 and is set to grow to over $1 trillion by 2035, yet ad fraud and malicious bots pollute the signals app marketers rely on for their decisions, leading to faulty analytics and less-performant use of AI across UA to LiveOps.

  • KAZIMI’s oversubscribed fundraise was led by venture investor Market One Capital with participation from IBB Ventures and several prominent mobile industry executives, including ex-Rovio CTO Petri Hyökyranta and ex-Supercell veteran Janne Peltola, as well as ex-Birkenstock and Sportradar CFO Erik Massmann.

We are happy to announce we have closed a EUR 2.2 million pre-seed fundraise to expand our advanced security protocols that secure and protect app developers’ user data collection.

“Until now it has been technically impossible for app developers to have true visibility on which signals originate from real users and which signals come from bots. With our advanced security solution, we are closing the loop and enabling app developers to protect their most important resource - their first party data,” says co-founder, chief product officer, and industry-leading mobile ad-fraud and security expert Andreas Naumann.

KAZIMI’s solution secures all measurement signals originating from a developers app, enabling the developers to collect and verify their first-party data, detect all forms of non-human activity, and distinguish real users from fake users with compliant, privacy-preserving technology.

The founders of KAZIMI are industry veterans in mobile security, having built the security and fraud detection systems at Adjust prior to the company’s acquisition by AppLovin in 2021 for approximately USD 1 billion.

The founders have built security systems for other mobile analytics companies and networks as well. Utilizing privacy preserving cryptographic proofs, the team is building a fundamentally new way for app developers to gain access to accurate and secure data about their users and maintain user data-privacy.

“I have long been dismayed by the lack of security in mobile marketing and am excited to support a solution that actually enables accurate data and the detection of bots at scale, while remaining compliant with data regulations and preserving user privacy. I’ve known the founding team at Kazimi for a long time and am convinced their approach is a paradigm shift for the entire mobile industry,” according to KAZIMI angel investor, advisor, and ex-Rovio CTO Petri Hyökyranta

In 2026 bots officially eclipsed human activity on the internet for the first time in history according to Cloudflare, yet mobile businesses are unable to detect which signals come from bots and which originate from authentic, human interaction. AppsFlyer’s latest report on mobile ad fraud suggests bot attacks are driving the vast majority of fraudulent activity on mobile channels.

The funds will be used to scale KAZIMI’s solution and address the global market for mobile ad spend, which reached $419 billion in 2025 according to Business of Apps and is expected to rise to over $1 trillion by 2035 according to Udonis.

“In the AI era, we believe KAZIMI can become the fundamental security layer for the global app economy that enables secure and accurate first-party data at scale, while being privacy-centric and conforming to the highest data privacy standards worldwide,” says Jacek Lubinski, lead investor and partner at Market One Capital.

“The bot crisis in mobile marketing is the elephant in the room - everyone knows mobile channels are intransparent and lack trust across many industries,” says Erik Massmann, KAZIMI angel investor and former CFO of the Birkenstock Group and Sportradar AG. “The ability to understand what’s real and what’s not real has never been more important - both for utilizing AI effectively and getting rid of fraud.”

“KAZIMI’s solution is truly transformative. Facilitating secure and accurate first-party data free from manipulation by bots and in a privacy-preserving manner will not only make mobile marketing more transparent and efficient, but protect data privacy in accordance with European values,” says Rayk Reitenbach of IBB Ventures.
